Our business philosophy is to improve all our management processes every day. Modern technology is integrated in our projects, ensuring the right working conditions to prevent occupational hazards and training our workers in line with requirements at all times.
At CEOSA we work to ensure customer satisfaction, complying with regulations, quality demands, sustainable development and prevention.
CEOSA is oriented towards more sustainable construction methods, according to the European directives for the decarbonisation of the construction industry (Sustainable Development Goals – AGENDA 2030).
The houses built and rehabilitated by CEOSA have the highest energy rating, meeting the following requirements:
- Maximum interior comfort and efficiency in the houses:
- Automated ventilation with heat recovery.
- Guaranteed thermal insulation without thermal bridges.
- High performance exterior windows.
- Minimum energy consumption in thermal protection.
- Efficient thermal installations: Renewable energies.
CEOSA’s staff also includes certified passivhaus construction technicians -Passivhaus-Tradesperson- in the construction of Ultra-low Energy Buildings, according to the Passivhaus standard, which guarantee high-performance buildings and almost zero energy consumption for users.
Through this building standard, principles of sustainable, healthy construction and maximum interior comfort are guaranteed and certified (by an external body, Passivhaus Institut):

Continuous improvement as a business philosophy
Continuous improvement is the principal backbone of CEOSA’S business philosophy. Our concern for perfecting management processes has led us to implement an Integrated Management Quality, Environmental and Prevention System in line with the three relevant standards: ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
The Integrated Management System is periodically assessed by internal and external auditors in order to verify the effectiveness of our management and to identify any areas for improvement.
We work with the best resources
In addition to applying the Integrated Management System to offer the quality that our clients expect from us, at CEOSA we are constantly upgrading our working tools:
New technologies for better work: Incorporating new technology provides us with better management of the information we use. Information technology means we are able to work faster with enhanced agility and simplicity.
Safety first: Our duty is to ensure the safety of our workers at all times and in all places. That is why we perform thorough maintenance of our work tools and machinery, and we choose new tools and machinery to go beyond simply minimising risks.
Well-trained professionals CEOSA’S training policy is based on continuous improvement of our work team. We believe that modern technology and sophisticated tools serve little purpose if the people who are to use them are not sufficiently trained to make the most of them.
Responsibly committed
Our commitment to quality, the environment, health and safety and of course to customer satisfaction, is a strategic decision that has been fundamental for the reputation, success and leadership of CEOSA.
As part of our continuous improvement philosophy that we apply to our work, we commit to:
- Ensure the satisfaction of our clients through fulfilment of contracts and all established regulations.
- Improve every day to achieve our quality, environmental and health and safety objectives for our workers.
- Engage all employees in the management process and guarantee their training to ensure fulfilment of the quality, environmental and prevention system.
- Reduce the number of workplace accidents, guaranteeing appropriate working conditions, whilst implementing a policy of risk prevention.
- Minimise environmental impact and optimise the consumption of resources.
- Facilitate elimination of procedures that do not meet the standards of our quality model.
- Develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors that permit improving services to clients, and continuous improvement in regard to environmental action and the health and safety of workers.
Guaranteed quality
Our commitment to quality can be explained through one premise: “clients can rest assured that the products we deliver are the best, from the moment the order is placed until it is delivered”. Consequently, our Integrated Management System covers three aspects that encompass the entire works process:
Offers and contract
We apply the quality system from the moment the work is identified until adjudication, and in any possible contract amendments.
Procurement and suppliers
We implement strict control and monitoring throughout the procurement process both in regard to our suppliers and the supplies, whether they are material or technical resources.
Process control
The quality of a project is directly dependent on process control. This procedure, which is applied to all works and activities carried out by our company, is constantly supervised by a working group consisting of at least the Integrated Management System Manager, the Site Manager and the Production Manager.
The process control begins when CEOSA is adjudicated a contract. At this point a file is opened and our quality system kicks off.
We are committed to sustainable development
Respecting the environment is part of CEOSA’s corporate social responsibility. Hence, our Integrated Management System includes two key aspects in regard to caring for the environment and sustainable responsibility:
Identifying and assessing environmental aspects
The Integrated Management System Manager and the Site Manager work together to identify, assess and record any environmental aspects that could arise during works execution, and at work sites.
If an emergency situation arises, we are ready to rapidly identify the problem and act safely in a controlled manner.
Environmental management
We keep strict control over all aspects that are susceptible to causing damage to the environment, and we work to reduce them as far as possible or to eliminate them.
- Waste:
We periodically identify waste through visits to our work sites and centres. Once hazardous and non-hazardous waste has been sorted, we manage it in accordance with applicable legislation, disposing of it in municipal waste containers or delivering it to the competent authorities. - Consumption:
The Integrated Management System Manager carries out strict control over resources in order to optimise their use. Part of this task consists of informing all CEOSA’S personnel about action that can be carried out to reduce consumption of resources. - Effluent:
The waste water from sanitation is channelled into the municipal networks. If this is not possible, CEOSA is qualified to collect and properly treat any effluent that is produced. - Noise:
Once companies have been granted works execution permits, they are exempt from noise control. Nevertheless, without our policy of caring for the environment, CEOSA keeps strict control over noise emissions to ensure they do not exceed permitted limits. - Emissions:
In order to limit emissions, CEOSA applies maintenance control to all the vehicles and machinery used in addition to mandatory inspections.
Safety, a basic pillar
Safety is a basic pillar at all CEOSA’S work sites. In order to guarantee safety as a fact, rather than just words, we have a Technical Prevention Department that plans and monitors our workplace risk prevention policy.
Our company applies a strict protocol which is divided into three parts:
- Risk identification
This consists of observing and analysing any action that could lead to damage or injury to our workers or to any other person on the company’s site or while executing a project. - Risk assessment
Once the risks have been identified, we prepare detailed reports by jobs, by workers’ requirements or by works phases. These reports allow us to be aware of any changes that could take place at the company’s offices or on execution sites. - Risk control
All identified hazards are assessed and must be eliminated, mitigated or controlled. To achieve this, a Health and Safety Plan is required as a basic working tool with which compliance at CEOSA is mandatory. Thanks to this system, we are able to plan preventive action, to identify who is exposed to the risks and provide the necessary human, technical and financial resources to deal with them.
100% secure information
A huge amount of information is produced in all projects, whatever the size, which requires meticulous processing. At CEOSA our IT systems provide us with direct, fluid communication between our technical office and the staff on each execution site.
We store all documents in our central server, which permits efficient management of plans and other documents, ensuring data is not duplicated.
Likewise, this means we are able to make back-up copies of all the documents we work with and guarantee information security, since, as the data is not located on the site, the information is secure in the event of any damage taking place.
